Unfortunately, exercise alone cannot reverse this appearance.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-underlined\">Body Lift<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"zn-expand \">\n\t<div class=\"zn-title\">Body lift<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"zn-content zn-inner-blocks\">\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A body lift alters the body\u2019s shape and improves the tone of underlying tissue that supports fat and skin. Excess skin and fat are removed as part of this procedure, which may also improve irregular skin texture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A body lift may be performed on the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Abdomen, sometimes extending around the sides and into the lower back<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Buttocks, when the patient believes them to be low, flat, or unevenly shaped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Groin, where tissue may sag into the inner thigh<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thighs, which may include the inner, outer, and back of thighs, or around the entire thigh<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aging, sun damage, pregnancy, major weight changes, and genetics may contribute to sagging skin and tissue in these areas.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-underlined\">Liposuction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"zn-expand \">\n\t<div class=\"zn-title\">SmartLipo MPX laser-assisted liposuction<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"zn-content zn-inner-blocks\">\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SmartLipo MPX works by heating the skin from underneath and melting away the fat. It can be performed on almost all areas of the body. When used along with body contouring, it may achieve tighter skin than with traditional liposuction. This procedure requires only a few small incisions (cuts), allowing the laser to reach fat cells under the skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As it liquefies fat cells, the laser also seals the wound area with heat (cauterization). This usually results in less bleeding and bruising compared to traditional liposuction. Most patients need little or no recovery time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What liposuction cannot do<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Liposuction is not a treatment for obesity or a substitute for proper diet and exercise. Also, it is not an effective treatment for loose skin or cellulite, the dimpled skin that often appears on the thighs, hips, and buttocks.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"zn-expand \">\n\t<div class=\"zn-title\">Traditional liposuction<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"zn-content zn-inner-blocks\">\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Liposuction, sometimes shortened to \u201clipo\u201d, helps slim and reshape specific areas of the body by removing excess fat deposits. Liposuction may be used on the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Abdomen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arms (upper)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Back<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Breasts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Buttocks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Calves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cheeks and chin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hips<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knees (inner)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Neck<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thighs (inner and outer)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Waist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Liposuction may be performed under local or general anesthesia. The procedure also results in smoother skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>What a thigh lift cannot do<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thigh lifts are not intended strictly for the removal of excess fat.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plasticsurgery.org\/cosmetic-procedures\/liposuction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Liposuction<\/a>&nbsp;alone can remove excess fat deposits where skin can easily stretch and naturally conform to new body contours. In cases where the skin cannot stretch naturally, a combination of liposuction and thigh lift techniques may be recommended.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-underlined\">Tummy Tuck<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"zn-expand \">\n\t<div class=\"zn-title\">Tummy tuck<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"zn-content zn-inner-blocks\">\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tummy tuck surgery, also known as abdominoplasty, removes excess fat and skin and even restores weakened or separated muscles in most cases. This results in a smoother and firmer tummy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diet and exercise may not be enough to achieve the desired appearance for the stomach area. The most common causes of a protruding or sagging stomach include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Aging<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Genetics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pregnancy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prior surgery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Major weight changes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>What a tummy tuck cannot do<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A tummy tuck is not a substitute for weight loss or an appropriate exercise program. The results of a tummy tuck are technically permanent, but the benefits can be greatly reduced by major weight fluctuations.
