Program Highlights
The UAB Department of Otolaryngology Allergy Clinic specializes in allergy testing and treatment for conditions related to the ear, nose, and throat, including skin testing and the radioallergosorbent (RAST) test. We use immunotherapy – including injections and sublingual drops – to build up patient immunity to specific allergens. Sublingual immunotherapy is convenient for patients who live out of town, can’t frequently visit The Kirklin Clinic of UAB Hospital to receive injections, and those with a fear of needles.
