“Kelsey was at Greek Food Festival in Birmingham recently when she noticed an individual choking. She performed the Heimlich maneuver; however, the individual lost a pulse, so Kelsey started chest compressions. The patient’s heart restarted. Then, the patient came to UAB Medicine’s Emergency Department for post-arrest care.
Kelsey goes above and beyond, even at a public event!”
