Temporary Staffing Agreement
Details and requirements of the Temporary Staffing Agreement position include:
Experience:
Candidates must have 3 years of recent experience in at least one or more areas listed in the job description. Candidates with less than 3 years of experience, but with at least 18 months of recent UAB experience, will be considered as well.
Contract Details:
- Inpatient RNs must be able to work 3, 12-hour shifts per week for a 12-week contract.
- OR and HVC RNs must be able to work 4, 10-hour shifts per week for a 12-week contract.
- Holidays and weekends are required.
- AM and PM shifts are available.
- Initial contract length is 12 weeks, with an option to renew for a duration of 8 to 12 weeks.
License:
Candidates must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing, or have an active multistate license that allows them to work in Alabama.
Certifications:
- Candidates must have an active BLS certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required based on area assigned.
Unit Based Temporary Staffing Agreement
Details and requirements of the Unit Based Temporary Staffing Agreement position include:
Experience:
Candidates must have 2 years of experience in the area approved for assignment. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience, but with 12 months of recent UAB experience will be considered.
Contract Details:
Initial contract length is 12 weeks, with an option to renew for a duration of 8 to 12 weeks.
License:
Candidates must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing, or have an active multistate license that allows them to work in Alabama.
Certifications:
- Candidates must have an active BLS certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification may be required based on area assigned.
